Zack Bel (they/them) writes about fairies, gothic houses and breathtaking romances in quirky small towns and the hauntingly beautiful Australian bush.
Zack concocts their fantastical stories with occasional input from a menagerie of pets and house plants. Their debut novel The Nightingale Prince released in 2023.
Zack found a love of reading early on, and a fascination with fairy stories not much later. Their books explore their beloved home of Australia and the gothic beauty of its landscape, as well as sex positivity and neurodivergent and queer representation.
